New Apartment Building Leaves Many Mesmerized

100 11th Avenue Exterior
New York City is well known for its architecture but the Residences at 100 11th Avenue truly defies the norm. The Chelsea area residents are not quite sure whether to stare in awe or confusingly peer. The French architect, Jean Nouvel, describes the building as a "vision machine". At 23 stories with 1,650 colorless window panes, the building is unmistakable.
The stark different between 100 11th Avenue and other buildings along the West Side Highway have left some critics wondering if it is "New York". Where else could such an innovative and unique design be accepted? As the city of dreams, this is as dreamy as you can get.

The building captures and reflects light differently throughout the seasons and times of the day. Each apartment has specific "fingerprint" views due to the angles of glass unique to every apartment. From the buildings indoor/outdoor pool to the touch sensitive bathroom fixtures, 100 11th Avenue is setting the bar for luxury residences of today.

If you thought this was unique then check this out.

About This Blog

As a full-time graduate student, real estate agent, and competitive boxer, I saw the need for a blog detailing experiences in different neighborhoods across New York City. A New York resident, born and raised I recently sought out to explore NYC and document what stood out to me in each and every featured neighborhood, including that ever so important residence in which you lay your head. Follow me and you just might find out some very helpful information. Stay Tuned.
